Religions of the World and Ecology Conference Series, Harvard 1996-1998

The Religions of the World and Ecology conference series was organized by Mary Evelyn Tucker and John Grim at the Center for the Study of World Religions (CSWR) at Harvard Divinity School. These events were the result of research over a three-year period (1996-1998). Conferences involved the direct participation and collaboration of some eight hundred scholars, religious leaders, and environmental specialists from around the world.

These conferences were cosponsored by the Center for the Study of World Religions, Bucknell University, and the Center for Respect of Life and Environment of the Humane Society of the United States.
