Renewing Hope: Pathways of Religious Environmentalism
An interdisciplinary conference at Yale University

Organized by The Forum on Religion and Ecology
400 people joined us at Yale as eco-theologians and leading scholars of the world’s religions came together with grassroots religious environmentalists to explore the obstacles and opportunities ofreligiously-engaged environmentalism.
The conference featured panels and discussions that highlighted the intersection of theology and practice, scripture and action in new and creative ways and raised questions regarding the various roles of religion in shaping ecological awareness and encouraging environmental activism.
All events, with the exception of the Saturday evening banquet, were held at Yale Divinity School, 409 Prospect St., New Haven CT
