Cambodia’s environment ministry shaping deep reflection sanctuary in national park

The Buddhist Cultural Centre, which houses the mediation site, is being built within the Preah Suramarit-Kossamak Kirirom National Park, in the eastern part of the Cardamom Mountains

PHNOM PENH – In a bid to encourage local and international Buddhists to embrace meditation and deepen their understanding of Buddha’s teachings, the Ministry of Environment is constructing a meditation site within the Buddhist Cultural Centre of Cambodia, nestled in Kirirom national park.
