Why Judaism Requires Action on Climate Change

Although the issues of global warming and climate change are already familiar to us, it was not until this week that the indisputable facts of just how bad things have got actually hit the world between the eyes.
After the release of the IPCC Sixth Assessment Report there is no turning back. In an article headlined “UN climate change report sounds ‘code red for humanity,’” the Reuters coverage echoed the essence of dozens of similar reports: “Global warming is dangerously close to spiraling out of control … the world is already certain to face further climate disruptions for decades, if not centuries, to come.”
