Marist Brothers USA launch province-wide Laudato Si’ Action Plan marking tenth anniversary of Pope Francis’ encyclical

The Marist Brothers USA Province launches its 2025 Laudato Si’ Action Plan today, reaffirming a Province-wide commitment to integral ecology and marking the tenth anniversary of Pope Francis’ encyclical Laudato Si’: On Care for Our Common Home. Developed through a grassroots and student-led process across Marist schools and communities, the plan calls all Marists to embody an ecological spirituality rooted in the tradition of Brother François, the first Superior General of the Marist Brothers, remembered as a gardener, herbalist, and healer.
