Keynote by Mary Evelyn Tucker
On April 12-14, the 2024 Earth Charter Conference will be held at Rollins College in Winter Park, FL, USA. This year’s theme is “Reimagining Education for Ecological Civilizations.” Keynotes will be given by JamesWohlpart, Mary Evelyn Tucker, Jeremy Lent, Namrata Sharma, and Sam Crowell. “With this conference, we want to bring together practitioners and researchers working on new educational approaches to address our current challenges,” stated Mirian Vilela, Earth Charter International, Executive Director. “The challenges facing our world today require a heightened level of consciousness for educators to set the stage for a sustainable future for generations to come.” John Grim and San King will lead a showing of Journey of the Universe.

Thomas Berry Award
On Friday evening, April 12th, Mary Evelyn and John presented the Thomas Berry Award to Miriam Vilela, Rick Clugston, and Peter Blaze Corcoran for outstanding Great Work on the Earth Charter.
