September 2012 FAITHFUL CITIZENSHIP PROJECT
featuring Drew Dellinger: Poet in Residence at Iona

Described by Cornell West as “one of the most creative, courageous and prophetic poets of his generation,” internationally acclaimed poetry artist Drew Dellinger brings his message for justice, cosmology and compassion as Iona’s first Poet-in-Residence for the Faithful Citizenship Project. Founder of Planetize the Movement, Dr. Dellinger is a spoken word poet, professor, writer, activist and founder of Poets for Global Justice, whose craft captures the power of the arts as a force for imagining a more just world and influencing social change.
