Joyous Earth Day! Today, we wanted to share information on two sermons by Forum co-founder and co-director, Mary Evelyn Tucker. The first was given several weeks ago through Grace Cathedral in San Francisco, and the second will take place this coming Sunday. See below for further information.

This Sunday, April 25, 2021 at 10am EST, Mary Evelyn Tucker will preach on Earth Sunday in a service with scripture, prayer and song. This online event is hosted by Immanuel Congregational, UCC in Hartford, Connecticut. The event is free and open to all.

At 11:15am EST, once the service has concluded, there will also be a live Zoom discussion with Dr. Tucker about her writing, film producing and teaching, hosted by A. Karim Ahmed. Dr. Ahmed is a Board member of the Global Council for Science and the Environment (GCSE) and an adjunct professor at the University of Connecticut Health Center.

Since Dr. Tucker's sermon will not take place until this coming Sunday, we also wanted to share the following Earth Day offering, a sermon titled: “The Sacred Continuity of Cosmos, Earth, and Humans.” This talk was given by her on March 14, 2021, hosted by Grace Cathedral in San Francisco and filmed at Marquand Chapel at Yale Divinity School.
