Dr. Robinson will be sharing from Vol. 3 of ESWTR Studies in Religion: Valuing Lives, Healing Earth: Religion, Gender, and Life on Earth, edited by Theresa A. Yugar, Sarah E. Robinson, Lilian Dube, and Teresia Mbari Hingay. As global communities face local instability due to climate change, weather oscillations, biodiversity loss, deforestation, agricultural changes, freshwater shortage, ocean acidification, toxic pollution, and other environmental losses, this volume provides a means of cross-cultural, interreligious collaboration and mutual benefit, enhancing theological response-ability to the changing material-environmental lives of communities globally. This lecture will highlight scholarship on practical work by women globally, who labor toward greater justice for a diverse humanity and biodiverse nature, exerting collaborative solidarity, grounded love, and realistic hope for the future.
Hosted by the Ecology, Spirituality, and Religion program at the California Institute of Integral Studies
