On May 7, Orion Magazine will hold their annual gala. This year’s virtual fundraiser is dedicated to trees and will feature:
- Robin Wall Kimmerer, receiving the Orion Jane Goodall Award for Inspiring Courage in Action, presented by Ed Yong.
- Richard Powers, receiving the Orion Barry Lopez Award for Achievements in Letters and Environments, presented by Maria Popova.
- With readings from Aimee Nezhukumatathil, Sandra Cisneros, and Jane Hirshfield.
