Online at 2pm ET

There is an inner dimension to climate change that the world is ignoring — a need to heal the disconnection from ourselves, each other, and nature; a need for resilience as we face the chaos ahead. Join Jamie Bristow — co-director of The Mindfulness Initiative and one of the world’s leaders in applying mindfulness to politics and public life — for a special discussion about the importance of mindfulness and compassion practices as we move through the ‘age of consequences’ and into a new era of planetary health.

In conversation with Garrison Institute co-founder Jonathan F.P. Rose, Jamie will also share top-level findings from the MI’s landmark report published earlier this year, “Reconnection: Meeting the Climate Crisis Inside Out,” which incorporates wisdom from more than two dozen policymakers and politicians, as well as growing research that links internal transformation to environmental sustainability.

This is an important event for anyone interested in developing holistic policies that address climate chaos and supporting teams and peoples through the uncertainty ahead.
