Here you'll find information on printed scholarly resources in the field of religion and ecology, including: a select listing of books and booklets; some of the key articles in the field; current journals; and an archive of the Yale Forum on Religion and Ecology newsletters, dating back to 2008. In each newsletter you will find a list of new books in the field, providing additional avenues for research and investigation.
In Books you will find information on the works of Thomas Berry, Mary Evelyn Tucker, John Grim, Brian Thomas Swimme, and some additional select titles in the field. Under Book Series, you will find full information on the volumes that came out of the Harvard conferences and the Orbis Books Ecology and Justice series.
In Periodicals there is information on, and links to, journals publishing in the field of religion and ecology. Links to the full text of the Daedalus issue, Religion and Ecology: Can the Climate Change, can also be found here. Under Key Articles, you’ll find a list of some of the seminal articles in the field, including Lynn White’s foundational piece “The Historical Roots of Our Ecologic Crisis.” Some of the articles are linked and available to read online.
