Lifewater is committed to ending the global water and sanitation crisis, one village at a time. Using local technology, training local influencers, forming a committee of local leaders, and leveraging a community contribution of 10-15% of project cost through labor, materials, or funds, the projects establish practices that will be successful and sustainable.

In West Arsi, Ethiopia, results show that Lifewater programs created a 98% decrease in instances of childhood diarrhea.
