Mirroring similar projects, Kenya's Catholic Church, in 2015, made 3,000 acres (1,214 hectares) of land available to commercial farming to fight hunger.

Impact

The project produces food, creates employment and improves quality of life locally. In 2011, a similar project, Limuru Archdiocesan Farm, turned 400 acres of land into a farm that now feeds the community, and employs 200 people.
