With Arlene O'Flaherty OP, Jane Mellett, Simeiqi He, Ph.D., Andrew MacIver Ph.D.

Join us for a three-day deep dive into the theological terrain of Laudato Si’ teachings of Pope Francis on our relationship to the natural environment we call home. This 3-day programme will include an introduction to Evolutionary Theology; a consideration of how Laudato Si’ teachings can be put into practice in our lives; how Pope Francis’s work has been informed by and links with Teilhard’s philosophies and what wisdom has been and can be excavated through archaeology.

Day 1:
Arlene Flaherty OP will offer an interactive introductory session on Monday build to both engage and inform participants on Laudato Si’ and introduce a context for evolutionary theology.

Day 2:
Jane Mellett will invite us the implications to justice and how the teachings of Laudato Si’ can help us engage with the world around us.

Day 3:
Simeiqi He & Andrew MacIver, from the Yale Forum on Religion and Ecology, will invite us to a Universal Communion by helping us see how Laudato Si’ and the philosophies of Teilhard link together through the science of archaeological study and discovery.
