World must come together to fight climate change, Pope Leo says

Celebrating the 10th anniversary of Pope Francis' encyclical, “Laudato Si', on Care for Our Common Home,” during an international conference on climate justice, Pope Leo XIV continued his predecessor's call for ecological conversion and concrete action to protect creation.
He warned against indifference, called the faithful to care for the earth and the poor, and he praised climate justice efforts across the globe.
The pope spoke at the opening session along with former California governor, Arnold Schwarzenegger.
