How do we revere water as a sacred, life-sustaining element on this blue-green planet?  On Monday evening, Sam King will interview Blair Nelsen on her spiritual journey into water protection and what each of us can do to conserve and protect water for future generations.

Blair Nelsen is the Executive Director of Waterspirit, an ecology and spirituality program which through education, reflection, action and celebration deepens appreciation of water and its place in the community of life, increases understanding of water issues, and empowers people to participate in the protection and preservation of water.  Blair received her Master of Arts in Religion from Yale Divinity School and her BA with honors in Environmental Studies from Brown University. She brings a multi-faith, international perspective to her work after living in Venezuela and Brazil for many years. In 2022, Blair co-authored the Climate Pastoral Care Course. She is a Good Grief Network Community FLOW Facilitator who has also been trained in climate café facilitation by the Climate Psychology Alliance of North America. Additionally, she holds a certificate in Climate Psychology from the California Institute for Integral Studies. Blair is a frequent writer and speaker about water, climate change, biodiversity, nature, climate anxiety, spirituality, religion, mindfulness, and contemplative practices.
