Satish Kumar is the subject of a long form conversation book titled Satish Kumar: Abundant Love by Jagdish Rattanani and Sudarshan Iyengar with Lisa Pearson.
For this Earth Conversation, we will be joined by Satish, Jagdish, and Sudarshan as speakers.
Our speakers will discuss the journey of the book, what they have learned about how the book has travelled and how they are using it to deliver workshops on non violence and Gandhian thinking. They'll reflect on their Action Research journey related to the book, and what they have learned along the way.
We'll look forward to hearing Satish reflect on the book, on the journey at the workshops, and on the way he is crafting an entirely new Schumacher Wild campus in the UK as the next logical step to Schumacher College.
We will then open up for questions with everyone.
We will be encouraging all participants in the workshop to practice elements of first person inquiry and draw images and record words in response to the speakers. Participants will be encouraged to reflect on this visual record of ideas after the workshop to create their own Journey of Abundant Love.
The event is organised by the Association of Sustainability Practitioners (ASP) and is free to attend. Donations are welcome.
