Environmentalists and social justice activists have plenty to be concerned about, particularly in the current political climate. How can alignment between the two strengthen their respective causes?  The Episcopal Diocese of Rhode Island invites you to an ecumenical conversation about finding common ground in a vision of justice that promotes the wellbeing of the planet and communities.

Andrew Thompson, PhD, Director of the Center for Religion and the Environment, The University of the South: Sewanee. Prof. Thompson will be joined by a panel from the Woonasquatucket River Watershed Council, Garden Time, and Southside Community Land Trust, three Providence non-profits, whose work lives at the intersection of climate change resilience and social justice.

This event is jointly sponsored by the Rhode Island Episcopal Diocese’s Center for Reconciliation and Creation Care Ministries.
