7th Annual Graduate Conference in Religion and Ecology

Event description:

March 3, 2023

Yale University
New Haven, CT, USA

In-person and online

The Graduate Conference in Religion and Ecology is an interdisciplinary conference held jointly by Yale Divinity School and Yale School of the Environment. We hope to highlight a spectrum of voices within the emerging field of religion and ecology at our upcoming conference held on March 3, 2023.

The theme of this year's conference, “Earth's Lamentation: Ecological Grief and the Paradox of Hope,” invites participants to consider the necessity of lamentation and the complexity of hope in the face of climate change. As in years past, we will be accepting proposals for academic presentations related to this theme. For the first time, the Graduate Conference in Religion and Ecology is also pleased to accept creative and artistic submissions.

Submission deadline: November 30, 2022
