The Trump administration has initiated a backdoor maneuver to open up the coastal plain of the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge in Alaska to oil exploration and development. The Gwich'in people refer to it as "the sacred place where life begins." I gave a 16.5 minutes long interview to Real News Network. Watch, and share if you like!

Also, my current exhibition at the UNM Art Museum, on display through February 2018, addresses this issues.
