Special summer intensive for holistic sustainability education. Will prepare educators and teacher educators to help students experience, understand, and value nature’s wisdom. Practice experience-based methods and develop new capacities to nurture students’ connection to nature and their skills in learning directly from nature. Adaptable across many settings, from urban science classes to outdoor programs. Fee is $600 ($550 until 5/1). Scholarships available. With Craig Holdrege and Henrike Holdrege. Guest presentation by biologist George Russell, co-founder of Orion magazine and editor of Children and Nature: Making Connections.
