Join us from September to December 2015 for Care for Creation: Scripture, Science, and Ethics with Dawn Nothwehr, OSF, and Mark J. Potosnak. In anticipation of Pope Francis’ 2015 encyclical on ecology, Catholic Theological Union presents this public lecture series on the Church and the environment. The course will provide the foundations for Catholic Social Teaching on environmental issues, such as ethical sources and norms, doctinal warrants, biblical themes, and science for environmental literacy. We will also feature speakers, projects, and materials developed by environmental justice ministries of CTU’s many religious communities.
